LMV has just sent an edit of Plastic Shores to the United Nations Regional Information Centre in the run up to their Ciné-ONU event on the 22nd March. The event is a part of a UN campaign to highlight the preservation and management of water in the run up to the Rio+20 Conference in Brazil. Fortunately we must be doing something right here at LMV as Plastic Shores was formally accepted with director Ed Scott-Clarke confirmed as a guest speaker on the subject of marine debris alongside a representative of UNEP. Following the event on the 22nd, we will have a London launch sometime in April followed by formal distribution of the film around the UK and internationally.
If you are interested in showing Plastic Shores, please do not hesitate to get in touch through info [at] lamodeverte.com or go to the film’s website. Thank you to the following for promoting the film so far:
Greening the Blue (UN)
And anybody or organisation that I haven’t stumbled across!
