Fantastic news. LMV has been granted funding for a new documentary on electronic waste. The film, tentatively called ‘e-Life’, has been a long time in the making and the core concept of the project was put together with UNEP. Unfortunately, funding was slow to materialise until Barchester Green Investment, the same organisation that helped fund the abridged version of Plastic Shores, stepped in. LMV are now heavily involved with the pre-production of ‘e-Life’. Huw Poraj-Wilczynski, who helped with Plastic Shores, will be co-directing alongside LMV director Ed Scott-Clarke. The film will explore the life cycle of our electronic goods, travelling from their use in the UK to their disposal in Ghana. More to follow.
